Aliran Magma Merapi Sudah Terbuka

YOGYAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Kepala Badan Geologi Kementerian Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Dr Sukhyar mengatakan, sistem aliran magma di Gunung Merapi sudah terbuka sehingga magma pun bebas keluar karena sudah tidak ada halangan di puncak.

"Sistem Merapi mulai terbuka pascaletusan 26 Oktober lalu karena sudah membongkar kubah lava hasil erupsi 2006," kata Sukhyar di Balai Penyelidikan dan Pengembangan Teknologi Kegunungapian (BPPTK) Yogyakarta, Senin (1/11/2010).
